Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to hire experienced musicians and audio professionals to evaluate generative music AI models. This is a part-time, remote contract role ideal for music producers, audio engineers, or sound mixers looking to apply their expertise in an exciting AI-driven project.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated lyrics, voice output, and overall musical quality
- Score and assess the quality of musical training data
- Apply hands-on experience writing and producing music in English
- Follow and interpret project directions provided in English
Ideal Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer
- Strong understanding of musical performance, theory, and lyric writing
- College degree in music (performance, theory, or related field) preferred
- Demonstrated experience writing lyrical music in English
- Native or near-native English proficiency
Project Details
- Start Date: Immediate
- Duration: Up to 6 months
- Commitment: Part-time, 10+ hours per week
