Music Audio Expert - French at Mercor

Music Audio Expert (French) | $39/hr | Worldwide Remote

Mercor is seeking experienced French-speaking musicians and audio professionals to evaluate generative AI music models in collaboration with a leading AI research lab. This is a part-time, remote contract role ideal for music producers, audio engineers, or sound mixers looking to apply their expertise in an exciting AI-driven project.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated lyrics, voice output, and overall musical quality
• Score and assess the quality of musical training data
• Apply expertise in French-language music writing and composition
• Follow and interpret project directions provided in English

Ideal Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer
• Strong understanding of musical performance, theory, and lyric writing
• College degree in music (performance, theory, and/or lyrics preferred)
• Demonstrated experience writing lyrical music in French
• Native or near-native proficiency in both French and English

Project Details

• Start Date: Immediate
• Duration: Up to 6 months
• Commitment: Part-time, 10+ hours per week
