We are looking for a detail-oriented Music & Sound Annotation Expert to support language audio projects by providing high-quality annotations and analysis of music and sound content. This is a remote contractor role ideal for someone with a strong ear for audio and a solid foundation in music theory.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate and label music and audio samples with precision and consistency
• Apply music theory knowledge to accurately categorize and describe audio content
• Conduct analytical listening sessions to identify key sonic characteristics
• Provide clear, well-written documentation and notes alongside annotations
• Maintain high attention to detail across large volumes of audio data

Required Skills

• Analytical Listening: Ability to critically evaluate and interpret audio content
• Music Theory Knowledge: Solid understanding of musical concepts, structure, and terminology
• Audio Annotation: Experience with tagging, labeling, or transcribing audio data
