Network Engineer Expert | $80–$120/hr | Worldwide Remote | Async & Paid Weekly

AFTERQUERY is seeking experienced Network Engineers to design and build routing, switching, and troubleshooting scenarios used by frontier AI labs to evaluate and test model judgment. This is a fully remote, asynchronous contract role with weekly pay.

What You'll Do

• Build realistic and complex network engineering scenarios covering routing, switching, and troubleshooting
• Create content that helps AI labs assess model decision-making in network contexts
• Document network designs and troubleshooting reasoning with clear, professional written English
• Work asynchronously on a flexible schedule with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional network engineering or network administration experience
• Hands-on experience with routing, switching, and firewalls in production environments
• Strong depth in networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs
• Excellent written English skills for documenting technical designs and reasoning
• Ability to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week

Compensation & Details

• Rate: $80–$120/hr depending on experience
• Schedule: Fully async, flexible hours
• Payment: Paid weekly
• Location: 100% remote, open worldwide
