Role Overview

This short-term, remote opportunity focuses on improving AI-generated Office.js scripts for Excel automation. You'll work with large language model outputs and Excel's "Record Actions" feature to create high-quality training data that pairs user prompts with executable Excel logic. Expected duration is approximately 1 month with 10-25 hours per week commitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate Office.js scripts generated by LLMs and Excel automation tools
• Modify and debug scripts to ensure Excel compatibility and output accuracy
• Compare script outputs against expert-generated reference files (.xlsx)
• Collaborate asynchronously with prompt writers and spreadsheet specialists
• Provide clear corrections to enhance code reliability for AI training datasets

Ideal Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Office.js and JavaScript for Excel add-ins and automation
• 2-6 years of software development experience
• Hands-on experience with Excel APIs and spreadsheet automation
• Excellent debugging and script validation capabilities
• Ability to translate natural language prompts into accurate spreadsheet logic
