Turing is seeking experienced Oracle Operational Research Specialists with deep expertise in mathematical optimization and modeling. This is an urgent engagement ideal for professionals who can hit the ground running on complex optimization challenges and validate model correctness with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement optimization models using LP, MILP, and NLP techniques
  • Translate complex real-world business problems into robust mathematical formulations
  • Validate and stress-test optimization models to ensure correctness and efficiency
  • Identify and resolve subtle logic and formulation errors within models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and improve solution approaches
  • Optimize model performance and scalability for production environments

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Linear Programming (LP), Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP), and Non-Linear Programming (NLP)
  • Proven ability to validate mathematical formulations and debug complex models
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with Oracle optimization tools or related OR platforms (preferred)
  • Background in Operations Research, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Engagement Details:

  • Type: Contractor/Freelancer (no medical or paid leave benefits)
  • Commitment: Minimum 20 hrs/week (options: 20, 30, or 40 hrs/week); at least 4 hrs/day with 4-hour overlap with PST
  • Duration: 4-week contract with potential for extension based on performance
  • Start Date: Expected next week
