Mercor is partnering with a leading AI organization to enhance AI systems' understanding of real-world operations across manufacturing, food service, and retail environments. We're seeking experienced operations professionals to contribute valuable insights that shape how AI models interpret complex workflows in scheduling, staffing, and inventory control.

Role Overview

As an Operations Expert, you'll work 10–20 hours per week reviewing and refining AI-generated outputs related to operational challenges. Your real-world experience will directly inform AI model training, helping create more accurate and practical AI systems for the operations industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and refine AI-generated outputs related to manufacturing, food service, or retail operations
• Create realistic operational scenarios involving scheduling, inventory planning, and frontline task execution
• Evaluate AI responses to common challenges such as overstock, stockouts, production delays, and supply chain variability
• Simulate operational workflows including shift planning, restocking routines, and vendor coordination

Ideal Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, food service, or retail operations
• Practical understanding of inventory management systems, forecasting, and stock-level monitoring
• Strong written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Familiarity with operational tools such as POS systems, ERP platforms, or warehouse management software
• Background in operations, supply chain, hospitality, or business administration
