Operations Manager (APAC/MEA) | Contractor | Worldwide Remote | Up to 9 Weeks

Turing is seeking experienced Operations Management professionals to help shape the next generation of frontier AI models. In this role, you will create, evaluate, and refine high-quality training and evaluation tasks focused on real-world business operations — including process improvement, resource scheduling, workflow optimization, and performance management.

This is a fully remote contractor engagement requiring at least 4 hours per day (up to 40 hours/week), with 4 hours of overlap with PST.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce expert-level tasks and gold-standard solutions in process design, scheduling, and operational performance.
  • Author realistic task scenarios involving process optimization, shift/resource scheduling, workflow mapping, and performance evaluation.
  • Apply rubric standards and grading frameworks established by the Functional SME Lead.
  • Incorporate calibration feedback and iterate on task designs under senior review.
  • Verify that all operational scenarios, logistics data, and business workflows are accurate, realistic, and solvable using standard frameworks.
  • Maintain consistent alignment with project guidelines, quality benchmarks, and milestone deadlines.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–8 years of hands-on experience in operations management, business operations, or a closely related field.
  • Core Skills: Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, capacity planning, shift scheduling, bottleneck resolution, and operational KPI/OKR tracking.
  • Deliverables: Track record of producing process maps, SOPs, resource schedules, and performance dashboards.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to evaluate complex workflows, analyze operational data, and identify inefficiencies.
  • Communication: Excellent written English for crafting realistic corporate scenarios, operational prompts, and evaluation rubrics.
  • Independence: Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and iterate based on feedback.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
  • Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, or quality assurance is a plus but not required.
