Mercor is building a more accurate, practitioner-informed version of O*NET — the U.S. government's official framework for describing occupations. We're seeking experienced Personal Care Aides to share their real-world knowledge and help improve how this profession is represented nationally.

About the Study

This is a one-time, paid online survey or interview lasting up to 30 minutes. Your input will directly shape how the Personal Care Aide occupation (SOC 31-1122.00) is described in the O*NET system. An optional follow-up task or short interview may be offered separately with additional compensation.

What You'll Do

• Complete a one-time online survey or interview about your day-to-day responsibilities as a Personal Care Aide
• Share direct knowledge of daily care tasks, work settings, and routines
• Optionally participate in a follow-up survey or short interview (paid separately)

Who We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience working specifically as a Personal Care Aide
• Currently working in the role, or have worked in it within the last 12 months
• Direct, hands-on knowledge of personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and ambulation
• Based in the United States

Not Eligible

• Home Health Aides focused on clinical tasks (e.g., vitals, wound care) — SOC 31-1121.00
• Nursing Assistants or CNAs in clinical settings — SOC 31-1131.00
• Housekeepers or maids providing only cleaning services
• Orderlies — SOC 31-1132.00
• Childcare workers
• Psychiatric Aides — SOC 31-1133.00
