Mercor is seeking Physics PhDs to contribute expertise to a premier AI lab project. In this role, you will design challenging domain-specific problems to help create high-quality data for state-of-the-art large language models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop complex physics problems to inform AI innovation
• Collaborate asynchronously with a global team
• Ensure accuracy and quality in all deliverables

Requirements:

• Physics PhD from a top US, Canadian, or European university
• Undergraduate degree from US, UK, Canada, or Europe
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in English

Role Details:

• Ongoing project, starting August
• 20 hours/week, with potential extension to 40 hours/week
• Minimum commitment of 1-2 months
• Fully remote and flexible schedule
• Hourly contractor, paid weekly via Stripe Connect
