Physician (Generalist) – AI Evaluator | $150/hr | Remote (US, UK, Canada)

Mercor, in partnership with a leading AI research lab, is seeking experienced Medical Practitioners (MDs and DOs) to evaluate and improve cutting-edge health AI models. This is a part-time, remote contract role ideal for clinicians who want to shape the future of AI-driven healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs for clinical accuracy, safety, and alignment with established medical standards
• Score diagnoses, clinical reasoning, and care recommendations against expert judgment
• Provide structured written feedback on clarity, safety, and clinical rigor
• Identify and flag failure modes that could compromise patient safety
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers to drive model improvements

Ideal Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• 2+ years of clinical practice in the US
• Experience in primary care, internal medicine, public health, hospital-based care, or mental health (e.g., Family Medicine, General Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Nephrology, Occupational Medicine, Anesthesiology, Critical Care, or Psychiatry)
• Strong attention to detail and clear, concise written communication skills
• Located in the US, UK, or Canada

Project Details

• Start Date: Immediate
• Duration: 6 weeks
• Commitment: Part-time, 20+ hours per week
• Rate: $150/hr
