MICRO1 is seeking a highly skilled Physics Expert specializing in Atomic, Molecular, and Optical (AMO) physics and Quantum Information. This is a remote contractor opportunity for a subject-matter expert ready to contribute deep technical knowledge to cutting-edge sciences research.

Role Overview

As a Physics Expert, you will apply advanced theoretical and experimental knowledge in quantum optics and quantum information systems. You will work on technically demanding problems requiring precision, rigor, and a strong command of quantum physics frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply expertise in AMO physics and quantum information theory to research tasks
• Work with Bogoliubov transformations and related quantum field methods
• Analyze sideband photocurrent spectra and interpret experimental data
• Implement and evaluate homodyne detection techniques
• Model optical losses using fictitious beamsplitter frameworks
• Utilize covariance-matrix methods for quantum state characterization
• Apply squeeze-parameter hyperbolic identities in theoretical derivations

Required Skills

• Strong foundation in quantum optics and quantum information science
• Proficiency in Bogoliubov transformations and covariance-matrix formalism
• Experience with homodyne detection and photocurrent spectral analysis
• Familiarity with loss modeling and squeeze-parameter mathematics

Compensation
