Turing is seeking a skilled Physics Expert to contribute to cutting-edge AI research by helping fine-tune large language models (LLMs). In this role, you will design challenging physics problems, craft detailed solutions, and collaborate with AI researchers to improve model performance across complex reasoning tasks.

What You'll Do

• Design and solve challenging physics problems to probe the limitations of large language models.
• Create clear, high-quality, step-by-step solutions with well-articulated reasoning.
• Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problems with evaluation goals, particularly in areas such as abstraction, multi-step reasoning, and symbolic manipulation.
• Help define new evaluation benchmarks spanning early undergraduate to PhD-level physics topics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or holding a Master's, Ph.D., or Postdoctoral degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex physics problems with a structured, logical approach.
• Skill in explaining physics concepts clearly using simple language and sound physical reasoning.
