Key Responsibilities
- Apply expertise in stochastic two-state Markov processes with gamma-distributed waiting times to model complex biological systems.
- Utilize the Euler-Lotka equation and renewal theory in the context of population dynamics and cell division research.
- Conduct perturbative expansion analyses in small division-noise variance scenarios.
- Perform first-passage-time analysis to characterize stochastic biological processes.
- Collaborate with research teams to produce rigorous, publication-quality results.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong foundation in Physics, with specialization in biophysics and/or statistical physics.
- Proficiency in stochastic two-state Markov processes with gamma-distributed waiting times.
