Key Responsibilities
- Apply advanced physics knowledge to research challenges in high energy and/or mathematical physics domains
- Exercise expert judgment in ambiguous or novel scenarios, providing well-reasoned conclusions
- Engage in meta-level reasoning to evaluate methodologies, frameworks, and research approaches
- Lead and guide research efforts, setting direction and maintaining scientific rigor
- Produce clear, defensible written articulations of findings, methodologies, and recommendations
Required Skills & Expertise
- Physics Mastery: Deep, demonstrable knowledge in high energy or mathematical physics
- Expert Judgment: Ability to navigate and resolve ambiguous, complex research questions
