Mercor is seeking accomplished Physics PhDs to contribute to a high-impact project with a leading AI laboratory. In this role, you will apply your deep subject matter expertise to help shape the future of artificial intelligence by curating advanced physics problems for large language model development.

• Collaborate on a cutting-edge project focused on AI innovation.
• Curate and develop challenging physics content to inform state-of-the-art language models.
• Work fully remotely and asynchronously, contributing 10–20 hours per week, with potential to extend up to 40+ hours.
• Project duration is a minimum of 1–2 months, with rolling application review.

Requirements:

• PhD in Physics from a top US, Canadian, or European university.
• Undergraduate degree from a leading US, Canadian, or European institution.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Excellent proficiency in English.
