MICRO1 is seeking a highly accomplished Physics Expert — ideally at the professor or principal investigator level — to contribute deep domain expertise in a research-oriented capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Apply expert-level physics knowledge to evaluate, analyze, and resolve complex, ambiguous research problems
• Provide authoritative judgment in edge cases where standard frameworks may be insufficient
• Engage in meta-level reasoning to assess methodologies, assumptions, and research quality
• Lead or contribute to research initiatives with clarity, rigor, and scientific integrity
• Produce well-structured, defensible written analyses and documentation that can withstand peer scrutiny

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Physics Mastery: Deep, demonstrable expertise across core and specialized areas of physics
• Expert Judgment: Ability to navigate ambiguous, high-stakes scenarios with confidence and precision
• Meta-Level Reasoning: Capacity to critically evaluate research frameworks and scientific arguments
• Research Leadership: Proven experience leading or directing research at an academic or institutional level (Professor, PI, or equivalent)
• Written Articulation: Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear, defensible, and professional manner

Compensation & Details
