Physics Expert (Statistical Physics / Quantum Information / Condensed Matter) | $80–160/hr | Worldwide Remote

MICRO1 is seeking a highly skilled Physics Expert to contribute to cutting-edge sciences research. This contractor role is ideal for a specialist with deep expertise in statistical physics, quantum information, and condensed matter theory.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply advanced physics knowledge to research and problem-solving tasks in statistical and condensed matter physics
• Work with concepts such as Kramers-Wannier duality, quenched disorder averaging, and square-lattice self-duality
• Analyze domain-wall free energy and noncontractible loop defects
• Perform and interpret 4-state Potts model numerics
• Contribute expert-level insights to ongoing research projects and deliverables

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong foundation in Physics, with specialization in statistical physics, quantum information, or condensed matter
• Proficiency with Kramers-Wannier duality and square-lattice self-duality
• Experience with quenched disorder averaging and domain-wall free energy calculations
• Familiarity with noncontractible loop defects
• Hands-on experience with 4-state Potts model numerics

Compensation & Details

• Rate: $80–$160/hr (based on experience)
