Mercor is seeking accomplished Physics Olympiad Medalists to support a leading AI lab in advancing research and infrastructure for next-generation machine learning systems. This is a fast-paced pilot project offering the opportunity to contribute your expertise to cutting-edge AI research while evaluating and improving model-generated solutions.

About the Role

This engagement focuses on diagnosing and solving real-world problems in your domain of expertise. You'll work directly with advanced AI systems to help drive improvements in solution generation and model performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Grade and evaluate model-generated solutions against established rubrics
• Provide expert feedback to improve AI solution-generation capabilities
• Apply your Physics Olympiad expertise to assess complex problem-solving approaches

Ideal Qualifications

• Medal recipient from a Physics Olympiad competition within the past 5 years
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Project Details

• Expected workload: 30 hours per week
