Hourly Contract | Remote | $60–$70/hour
Mercor is seeking Physics PhDs for an innovative project with one of the world's top AI research labs. In this role, you'll apply your physics expertise to create challenging, domain-specific problems and datasets that enhance the capabilities of advanced large language models.
Completed undergraduate degree in the U.S., UK, Canada, or Europe.
Earned a PhD in Physics from a leading university in the U.S., Canada, or Europe.
Strong analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
Outstanding proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Develop complex physics-based problems to guide cutting-edge AI model training.
Collaborate closely with experts in physics and artificial intelligence.
Fully remote, flexible, asynchronous schedule.
Initial workload: 10–20 hours weekly, with potential expansion to 40 hours/week.
Project duration: Minimum commitment of 1–2 months, with possibility of extension.
Classified as an hourly contractor.
Weekly payments via Stripe Connect.
