Primary Care Physician (MD) – AI Evaluation | $170–190/hr | Remote (US Only)

Mercor, on behalf of a leading healthcare AI partner, is seeking currently practicing Primary Care Physicians to review, annotate, and evaluate clinical documentation for advanced AI-powered tools. This is a flexible, part-time remote role designed to fit around an active clinical schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Documentation Review: Evaluate outpatient clinical notes, encounter summaries, and EHR documentation for accuracy, completeness, and clinical soundness. Assess AI-generated notes against real-world PCP documentation standards.
• Annotation & Structured Feedback: Annotate outpatient encounter data per detailed guidelines; identify omissions, hallucinations, and clinical inaccuracies in AI output; provide actionable written feedback for engineering and product teams.
• Knowledge Contribution: Offer expert input on annotation guidelines and documentation standards, help clarify ambiguous guidance, and assist in refining edge-case definitions.

Required Qualifications

• MD with 2+ years post-residency, currently practicing primary care, family medicine, or general internal medicine
• US-based with direct outpatient clinical note-writing experience
• Minimum availability of 10 hours/week for 3 months

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years post-residency experience
• Familiarity with Epic EHR
• Background in clinical documentation quality review, note auditing, or CDI
• Prior AI/ML annotation or model evaluation experience

Work Arrangement

This is a remote, part-time contractor role — minimum 10 hours/week for approximately 2–3 months, with flexible scheduling built around your existing clinical practice.
