Turing is seeking a seasoned Principal GenAI Engineer to join its growing GenAI delivery organization. In this senior role, you will lead the design and deployment of cutting-edge LLM-based solutions for Fortune 500 clients, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers to deliver transformative AI products.

Role Overview

As a Principal GenAI Engineer, you will be a key contributor to Turing's GenAI delivery organization, implementing industry-leading multi-agent LLM systems, RAG pipelines, and open-source LLM deployments for major enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

  • LLM Solution Development: Lead the design, training, fine-tuning, and deployment of large language models using prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agent-based architectures.
  • Codebase Ownership: Write and maintain high-quality, scalable Python code using frameworks like LangChain/LangGraph, with a focus on reusability and performance.
  • Cloud Integration: Deploy and optimize GenAI applications on cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS), ensuring robust CI/CD processes and efficient resource utilization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product owners, data scientists, and business SMEs to define requirements and deliver impactful AI solutions.
  • Technical Mentorship: Provide leadership and knowledge-sharing to the engineering team, promoting best practices in ML and LLM development.
  • Continuous Innovation: Stay current with the latest advancements in generative AI research and propose emerging techniques to improve model performance.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of professional experience building Machine Learning models and systems (10+ years for Staff-level consideration)
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI techniques including prompt engineering, RAG, and agents
  • Expert proficiency in Python, LangChain/LangGraph, and SQL
  • Solid understanding of cloud services on Azure, GCP, or AWS for GenAI application development
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
