The Role

We're seeking an exceptional Principal UI Developer to join our technology team. In this role, you'll leverage your deep expertise to design, develop, and optimize scalable UI solutions using React, GraphQL, and modern web technologies that power our AI-driven platform.

What You'll Do

  • Architect and design large-scale React applications that support our complex AI operations
  • Implement advanced rendering optimizations using memoization, virtualization, lazy loading, and performance profiling
  • Design highly debuggable, maintainable, and scalable UI structures for mission-critical applications
  • Create modular, reusable UI component libraries that maintain consistency across our ecosystem
  • Implement responsive and adaptive design principles ensuring cross-platform and multi-device compatibility

What You'll Bring

  • Extensive experience with React Context API for building robust intra-UI services
  • Strong proficiency with GraphQL APIs, including queries, mutations, and subscriptions for real-time data updates
  • Deep understanding of advanced JavaScript concepts, ES6+, TypeScript, and front-end development best practices
  • Expert knowledge of modern styling methodologies (CSS-in-JS, SCSS/SASS, Tailwind CSS, Styled Components)
  • Experience implementing accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA) to ensure inclusive user experiences
  • Mastery of build tools and package managers (Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn)
  • Proven experience with UI testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
  • Strong Git proficiency and collaborative development workflows

Compensation

Invisible offers competitive compensation based on geographic location:

Tier 1: $228,000 - $281,000
Tier 2: $209,000 - $255,000

Your recruiter will confirm the specific tier for your location. For candidates outside the U.S., compensation will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions.
