Privacy Analyst | Legal & Engineering | Worldwide Remote

Turing is seeking a skilled and passionate Privacy Analyst to join our Privacy Legal team. In this role, you'll serve as the critical bridge between Legal, Security, and Product — conducting technical and legal privacy reviews while embedding privacy-by-design principles directly into the software development lifecycle. What You'll Do

• Privacy Technical Reviews: Perform deep-dive assessments of product designs, data flows, and codebases to identify and address privacy gaps.
• Privacy-by-Design: Collaborate with engineering teams during the design phase to integrate data minimization, purpose limitation, and obfuscation techniques.
• Implementation Guidance: Deliver clear technical requirements for data deletion pipelines, automated labeling, and consent management systems.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the technical liaison between Legal, Security, and Product to resolve conflicting requirements and provide objective risk analysis.
• Establish Paved Paths: Document reusable patterns and identify self-service options to streamline future product launches.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in consulting, engineering, program management, or an equivalent role within privacy, security, legal, or compliance organizations.
• Hands-on experience working with engineering teams — including code review and understanding of software architecture and microservices.
• Solid knowledge of data privacy regulations including CCPA, GDPR, and state data breach notification laws.
• Demonstrated ability to assess data privacy control capabilities and provide actionable remediation recommendations.
• Experience supporting the design and implementation of best-in-class privacy or compliance programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Exceptional problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects under deadline pressure.
