Private Equity & Investment Funds Attorney | $90–130/hr | Worldwide Remote

Join a dynamic legal team as a specialist contractor supporting complex private equity, investment fund, and M&A transactions. This role is ideal for an experienced transactional attorney with deep expertise in fund structures, deal documentation, and technology-related legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of transactional documents including MSAs, SPAs/APAs, LPAs, DPAs, NDAs, and side letters
• Provide expert legal guidance on private equity structures, investment fund formation, and M&A transactions
• Assess and communicate legal risks associated with complex business operations and deals
• Support technology transactions, including SaaS and cloud service agreements
• Apply knowledge of data privacy and cybersecurity law to relevant transactional matters
• Produce high-quality legal writing, annotations, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate effectively with legal professionals across teams and jurisdictions

Required Skills & Expertise

• Proven experience in private equity, investment funds, and M&A law
• Strong command of contract drafting and negotiation across complex deal structures
• Familiarity with data privacy and cybersecurity regulations
• Experience with technology transactions, including SaaS and cloud agreements
• Exceptional legal writing, synthesis of complex concepts, and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across legal teams

This is a contractor engagement offering competitive hourly compensation between $90 and $130/hr, with fully remote flexibility available worldwide.
