AfterQuery is looking for experienced Private Investigator Experts to help shape the future of AI by designing and evaluating investigative challenges used to train advanced AI models. This is a fully remote, flexible contractor role ideal for seasoned investigators who want to apply their expertise in an innovative, technology-driven environment.

What You'll Do

• Design realistic and complex investigation scenarios that test an AI model's ability to apply investigative principles.
• Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, practicality, and alignment with real-world investigative standards.
• Provide expert insight into case management, evidence gathering, and analytical problem-solving.
• Help bridge the gap between proven investigative practice and cutting-edge AI development.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Forensics, or a related field is preferred.
• Active private investigator license in good standing with proven, hands-on investigative experience.
• Strong understanding of investigative techniques and applicable legal requirements.
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with a sharp attention to detail.

Compensation: $50–$100/hr, depending on experience and scope of work.
