Project Coordinator - AI & Data at Mercor

Project Coordinator – AI & Data Projects | $45–70/hr | Remote (US Only)

Join a leading AI lab's GenAI team as a Project Coordinator, serving as the operational backbone between program leadership and a growing network of domain experts. This is a W-2 position through Cincinnatus LLC, placing you directly within a top-tier AI lab's extended workforce.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for AI data projects, keeping workflows and operations on track.
• Translate leadership directives into clear, actionable guidelines for expert teams.
• Onboard and support new contributors as the program scales.
• Participate in weekly business reviews — organize notes, track action items, and lead calls when needed.
• Identify quality issues, investigate root causes, and communicate findings across teams.
• Collaborate with research and product partners to develop and refine project guidelines.
• Proactively flag risks and blockers, driving timely resolution.
• Track deliverables and project metrics using Google Sheets and Excel.
• Adapt fluidly as project scopes and priorities evolve.

Qualifications

• Location: Must be based in the United States.
• Education: STEM background strongly preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years in project coordination or project management, with cross-functional team leadership experience.
• AI Fluency: Hands-on experience with AI training-data or human-data projects — as a coordinator, team lead, EPM, or expert contributor.
• Ideal Background: Prior coordination on AI/data programs at organizations like Meta, TikTok, or Amazon, or EPM/project-lead experience on Mercor or similar AI training initiatives.
• Technical Skills: Strong data management proficiency (Excel, SQL) and working knowledge of coding.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage or lead large, diverse teams effectively.
