AI/ML Project Manager | Contractor | 40 hrs/week | Remote (Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Egypt, Ghana, Bangladesh)

Turing is seeking a driven and experienced AI/ML Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of multimodal AI projects. This is a short-term contractor role (4 weeks) requiring strong execution skills, cross-functional leadership, and comfort navigating fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of multimodal AI projects spanning text, image, audio, and video domains
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including researchers, engineers, and data specialists
  • Drive project planning, execution, and on-time delivery against defined milestones
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure clear communication and goal alignment
  • Translate complex AI requirements into structured roadmaps and actionable plans
  • Monitor KPIs, track progress, and proactively identify and mitigate risks
  • Optimize resource allocation to ensure high-quality project outcomes
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency
  • Navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly in a dynamic, evolving environment

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably in AI/ML environments
  • Familiarity with multimodal AI workflows (text, image, audio, video) is a strong plus
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical requirements into structured execution plans
  • Experience managing cross-functional and distributed teams
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a bias toward execution
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Engagement Details

  • Commitment: 40 hours per week with at least 4 hours of PST overlap required
  • Employment Type: Contractor assignment (no medical or paid leave benefits)
  • Duration: 4 weeks; expected start date is next week
  • Eligible Locations: Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Egypt, Ghana, Bangladesh
