Field Merchandising Project Manager II | $50–70/hr | Remote (US)

Join a fast-paced, high-impact team as a Field Merchandising Project Manager, working remotely to oversee in-store merchandising programs across thousands of US retail locations. You'll play a central role in how wearable products—particularly smart eyewear—are displayed, experienced, and maintained in major retail environments including Sunglass Hut, RayBan, and LensCrafters.

This is a full-time, W-2 position employed through Cincinnatus, an enterprise staffing company partnering with a leading technology client.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and prioritize large volumes of retail merchandising projects across thousands of locations, often with tight deadlines and high complexity.
  • Serve as the key liaison between regional third-party labor agencies, fixture display companies, channel marketing managers, demo tech teams, field sales, visual merchandising, and the eyewear partner.
  • Build detailed execution plans for initiatives spanning multiple product lines and retail environments.
  • Oversee third-party labor agencies to ensure flawless in-store execution and deliverable compliance.
  • Track field execution progress, analyze demo data, identify roadblocks, and report results to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage invoice processing and collaborate with leadership to keep all third-party labor projects within budget.
  • Develop workback schedules for display fixture production and installation, shared cross-functionally.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in retail in-store merchandising (brand or vendor side).
  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • 3+ years managing third-party labor.
  • Proven ability to navigate unique retailer operating conditions and their impact on execution.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially regarding fixture installations and complex logistics.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills—verbal and written.
  • Experience managing external vendors and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency with Google G Suite and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with eyewear retail partners (Sunglass Hut, RayBan, LensCrafters) and their guidelines.
  • Experience planning large-scale installations from concept through production.
  • Background in mobile carrier or specialty retail environments.
  • Experience with in-store tech demos or retail technology.
  • Budget management and fiscal responsibility experience.
