Psychologist Expert | $90–$155/hr | Remote (US) | Contractor

AFTERQUERY is seeking licensed psychologists to help shape the future of AI safety. In this role, you will design and develop clinical and behavioral scenarios used by frontier AI labs to evaluate model judgment, safety, and ethical reasoning. This is a fully remote, asynchronous contract position with weekly pay.

What You'll Do

• Develop realistic clinical and behavioral test scenarios for AI safety and model evaluation
• Apply expertise in psychotherapy, assessment, and risk evaluation to inform AI judgment testing
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI research teams to ensure clinical accuracy and rigor
• Contribute to safety planning frameworks and scenario design grounded in evidence-based practice

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) with an active, unencumbered US license
• 2+ years of clinical or research experience post-licensure
• Strong background in assessment, psychotherapy (CBT, DBT), or psychological testing
• Experience with risk assessment and safety planning protocols
• Ability to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week
