Public Administrator | $40–65/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking an experienced Public Administrator to support government policy, compliance, and urban planning initiatives in a fully remote contractor role. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in public sector operations and policy analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret government policies and regulations to ensure organizational compliance
• Manage budget planning, tracking, and reporting across public or non-profit programs
• Conduct zoning, land use, and urban/city planning analysis to support decision-making
• Lead or assist with emergency management planning and response coordination
• Prepare comprehensive reports, policy briefs, and documentation for stakeholders
• Collaborate effectively with remote teams across departments and agencies
• Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and compliance review processes

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in public administration or a related government/non-profit role
• Strong knowledge of government policy analysis and regulatory frameworks
• Experience with budget management and financial oversight
• Familiarity with urban planning, zoning, and land use principles
• Background in emergency management is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking and meticulous attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently in a remote team environment
• Solid project management capabilities

Compensation

$40–$65/hr depending on experience and qualifications.
