Key Responsibilities

• Problem Design & Solutioning: Develop original, research-grade or graduate-level scientific problems involving scientific coding in Python; define problem categories, tags, and difficulty levels.
• Rigorous Solutioning: Solve formulated problems using sound scientific principles, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and logical coherence throughout the solution path.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in two-tier review processes, evaluating the accuracy of both problems and solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with reviewers and team leads, proactively incorporating feedback to refine and improve content quality.

Required Qualifications

• PhD or current PhD Candidate in Computational Mathematics
• At least 1 peer-reviewed publication
• Advanced proficiency in Python for scientific computing
• Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Engagement Details

• Type: Contractor / Freelancer (no medical or paid leave benefits)
• Commitment: Minimum 20 hrs/week (options: 20, 30, or 40 hrs/week); at least 4 hours/day with 4-hour overlap with PST
• Duration: 3-month contract with potential for extension based on performance
• Start Date: Expected next week
