QA Analyst – AI Interview Monitoring
Hourly Contract | 100% Remote | $5–$10/hr

Mercor is hiring detail-oriented QA Analysts to help us ensure the integrity and technical quality of our AI-powered interview platform. You’ll play a critical role in upholding rigorous standards across the hiring process for elite tech and creative talent.

What You’ll Do
Technical QA: Watch recorded interviews end-to-end, flagging and annotating any issues such as audio/video glitches or premature termination.
Fraud Investigation: Investigate candidate profiles flagged by our system, verifying credentials (education, awards, employment) through online research, especially LinkedIn.
Cheating Detection (Most Challenging): Spot subtle signs of external assistance—AI-generated answers, off-camera prompts, suspicious timing, and more. Analyze eye movement, “AI-likeness” of responses, and update a living database of cheating tactics.
Must-Have Qualifications
Exceptional English comprehension and concise written communication.
Familiarity with LinkedIn and assessing professional backgrounds.
Strong critical thinking: can distinguish genuine expertise from memorized or superficial answers.
Ability to detect jargon-heavy or “canned” responses and assess true candidate knowledge.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Exposure to technical interviewing
Familiarity with AI tools, capabilities, and common misuse patterns
Experience in fraud/risk operations
