Quality Analyst at Mercor

Quality Analyst | $20–50/hr | Worldwide Remote

Mercor is seeking detail-oriented Quality Analysts on a contract basis to help ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across a variety of projects. You'll be a critical line of defense in maintaining high quality standards, providing structured feedback, and helping improve evaluation processes in a fast-moving, distributed environment.

What You'll Do

• Review work product against defined quality standards, rubrics, and guidelines
• Identify errors, inconsistencies, and gaps, and document them clearly
• Provide structured, actionable feedback to contributors and stakeholders
• Track quality metrics and surface recurring issues or trends
• Help refine and improve quality processes, checklists, and evaluation criteria
• Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team across multiple time zones

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a similar review-focused role
• Strong attention to detail and a sharp eye for errors others might miss
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to give clear, constructive feedback
• Comfort with ambiguity and evolving standards in a dynamic environment
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, focused workspace

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with data annotation, content review, or evaluation workflows
• Experience working with distributed or remote teams
• Background in a relevant domain such as technical, editorial, or analytical fields
