Mercor is seeking accomplished Quant Finance PhDs to join a high-impact project with a leading AI laboratory. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to design challenging problems and create high-quality data that will help shape the future of AI innovation, specifically focusing on large language models.

• Requirements: PhD in Quantitative Finance from a top US, Canadian, or European university
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Excellent proficiency in English

Role Details:

• Ongoing contractor position starting in August, with rolling applications
• 15–20 hours per week, with potential to extend up to 40 hours weekly
• Fully remote and asynchronous work, offering flexible scheduling
• Minimum project duration of 1–2 months
• Hourly contractor classification, paid weekly via Stripe Connect
