Radiologist (Remote Contract)

Compensation: $185–$205 per hour
Employment Type: Hourly Contract (10–20 hours/week, potential increase to 40 hours)
Contract Duration: Minimum 1–2 months (potential extension)

About the Role:
Mercor is seeking experienced Radiologists to create, review, and validate prompt-based questions that train cutting-edge AI systems in medical imaging interpretation. Your expertise will ensure that AI-generated content accurately reflects clinical reasoning, radiologic reporting standards, and diagnostic best practices.
We welcome board-certified radiologists from various subspecialties—including diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, and more—to develop training materials that closely replicate real-world scenarios. This role provides an exciting opportunity to directly influence how AI technology interprets imaging studies and communicates diagnostic decisions.
Ideal Candidates Have:
3+ years of clinical experience interpreting medical images
M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification in Radiology
Strong proficiency in interpreting X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, pattern recognition, differential diagnosis, and standardized radiologic reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Subspecialty fellowship training
Experience with structured reporting platforms and/or teleradiology
