Mercor is seeking fellowship-trained radiologists for an exciting project with one of the world's top AI labs. This role focuses on evaluating large language models' ability to answer advanced, real-world radiology cases, with particular emphasis on Musculoskeletal and Neuroradiology subspecialties.
You will design expert-level diagnostic and reasoning challenges that current AI models struggle to answer and provide authoritative, gold-standard solutions. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate directly with research teams at a leading AI lab and shape the future of medical AI.
Required Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
- Completion of a radiology fellowship (any subspecialty)
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- 2+ years of post-training clinical experience
- Currently based in the United States
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strongly Preferred:
- Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology and/or Neuroradiology
- Primary clinical practice focused on MSK or neuro imaging
- Academic or teaching experience (residents, fellows, conferences)
- Experience creating case-based assessments, exam questions, or rubrics
- Background in complex MRI interpretation or subspecialty-heavy workflows
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop gold-standard answers with clear diagnostic reasoning
- Emphasize edge cases, nuanced differentials, and multimodal reasoning, particularly in MSK and neuroradiology
- Collaborate directly with research teams at a leading AI lab
- Provide feedback on common failure modes in model reasoning
