Radiology Resident (PGY 3+) | $120/hr | Remote – US Only

Mercor is partnering with one of the world's leading AI research labs to recruit third- and fourth-year diagnostic radiology residents. In this role, you will help evaluate and challenge large language models by designing expert-level radiology cases and providing authoritative, gold-standard diagnostic reasoning. Subspecialists in Musculoskeletal and Neuroradiology are especially encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop gold-standard answers with clear, well-structured diagnostic reasoning
• Design advanced, real-world radiology cases that highlight edge cases, nuanced differentials, and multimodal reasoning
• Focus on MSK and neuroradiology challenges where current AI models fall short
• Collaborate directly with research teams at a top-tier AI lab
• Provide structured feedback on common failure modes in model reasoning

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Currently in PGY-3 or PGY-4 of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Currently based in the United States
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills

Strongly Preferred

• Subspecialty training in Musculoskeletal Radiology and/or Neuroradiology
• Academic or teaching experience (residents, fellows, conferences)
• Experience creating case-based assessments, exam questions, or rubrics
• Background in complex MRI interpretation or subspecialty-heavy workflows

Screening Process

Qualified candidates will complete a brief 20–30 minute interview exploring their clinical background and subspecialty expertise.
