Real Estate Practice Reviewer at Mercor

Real Estate Practice Reviewer | $55–60/hr | Remote (US)

Mercor is seeking experienced, actively practicing real estate professionals to audit AI-generated work product in their own field. This is a review and evaluation role — not a content creation role. If you know your field cold and can spot what an AI gets wrong, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Each review session takes approximately one hour. You'll be presented with an AI agent's complete attempt at a realistic real estate task, including the original task description, the agent's output, any files produced, and an AI-generated scoresheet. Your job is to evaluate four things:

• Task Realism: Is this a task that would genuinely arise in this profession, described accurately?
• Domain Accuracy: Are the standards, figures, regulations, and constraints correct — or is something subtly off that only a practitioner would catch?
• Grading Validity: The AI grader answered eleven yes/no questions about the work. You review those answers against the actual files and flag any disagreements with reasoning.
• Score Defensibility: You independently band the work (usable, acceptable, etc.) and compare it against the reported score.

Who We're Looking For

We are hiring for four specific practitioner roles. Please apply only to the one that matches your background:

• Real Estate Sales Agents: Active US state license with 4+ years closing your own transactions.
• Property & Community Association Managers: 4+ years managing real portfolios or HOAs, including budgets and reserve studies.
• Real Estate Brokers: Active broker license with 5+ years supervising agents and managing compliance responsibilities.
• Counter & Rental Clerks: 3+ years in equipment, vehicle, or property rental handling agreements, deposits, and damage claims.

Ideal Candidate

You've caught a defective disclosure, corrected a contract, reconciled a reserve study, or resolved a commission dispute. You bring real practitioner judgment — not just theoretical knowledge.

This role is a strong fit if: your license is active and transactional, you've worked on the practitioner side of deals, and you're comfortable reviewing spreadsheets or PDFs to verify that numbers reconcile.

This role is a weaker fit if: your license is inactive or referral-only, or your background is primarily as an investor or analyst rather than a practicing professional.

Requirements

• Near-native business English proficiency (written reasoning is required for every judgment)
• Comfort reviewing PDFs and spreadsheets for numerical accuracy
• Active credentials and current field experience in one of the four roles above
