Mercor is seeking experienced Recreation Workers to support a leading AI lab in advancing research and infrastructure for next-generation machine learning systems. This remote, flexible engagement allows you to contribute your professional expertise to cutting-edge AI research while working independently on your own schedule.

About the Role

This engagement focuses on diagnosing and solving real issues in your domain. You'll create deliverables and review peer-developed work to improve AI research capabilities. Expected workload is approximately 30 hours per week with flexibility to scale up to 40 hours over a 3-4 week project duration.

Key Responsibilities

• Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain
• Review and evaluate peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality
• Apply your domain expertise to real-world problem-solving scenarios

Ideal Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in recreation or related field
• Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and spelling
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

Work Arrangement

• Fully remote and asynchronous—complete work on your own schedule
• Independent contractor engagement through Mercor
• Project starts immediately and lasts approximately 3-4 weeks
• ~30 hours per week, flexible up to 40 hours

Compensation & Payment

• Hourly compensation: $60-80/hour
• Paid weekly via Stripe Connect
• Payments based on services rendered
