About the Role:
Mercor is seeking experienced Retail & E-commerce professionals to collaborate on an exciting AI research project. You will assist in developing and evaluating AI systems designed to replicate critical retail and e-commerce workflows, including inventory forecasting, product content optimization, and campaign performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate AI-generated outputs such as forecasting reports, merchandising plans, and performance dashboards for accuracy and relevance.

• Calibrate AI decision-making processes related to SKU replenishment proposals, shelf planogram resets, and ROI calculations.

• Create essential retail assets, including inventory replenishment playbooks, product content guidelines, and performance-reporting templates.

• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and product teams to continuously enhance system performance.

Ideal Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Retail Operations, E-Commerce Merchandising, Category Management, Supply Chain Planning, or relevant graduate-level education.

• Strong proficiency in demand forecasting, open-to-buy budgeting, GMV/revenue KPI analysis, and merchandising metrics.

• Experience developing retail assets such as store scorecards, inventory models, product content libraries, and campaign ROI dashboards.

• Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills.

Project Details:

• Start Date: July 17th

• Duration: Approximately 6 weeks

• Commitment: Part-time (~20 hours/week)

• Fully remote and asynchronous—work according to your schedule.

Interview Process:

• Participate in a 30-minute conversational AI interview assessing your expertise in retail and e-commerce.

• Complete a 30-minute structured rubric calibration task to evaluate your ability to interpret guidelines and assess AI-generated content.

Compensation & Legal Details:

• Independent Contractor position.

• Weekly payments via Stripe Connect.
