Retail & Pharmacy Practice Reviewer | $55–65/hr | Remote (US)

Mercor is seeking experienced retail and pharmacy professionals to audit AI-generated work product in their own field. This is not a content creation role — you bring your real-world expertise to evaluate whether AI agents are performing realistic, accurate, and well-graded work.

What You'll Do

Each review item takes approximately one hour. You will be presented with an AI agent's complete attempt at a realistic task from your profession — including the original task, the agent's actions, files produced, and an AI grader's scoresheet. Your job is to answer four key questions:

• Task Realism: Is this a task that would genuinely arise in this profession, described accurately?
• Domain Accuracy: Are the standards, figures, regulations, and constraints correct — or is something subtly wrong that only a practitioner would catch?
• Grading Validity: Does the AI grader's eleven yes/no evaluation hold up when you review the actual files?
• Score Defensibility: Band the work yourself — could a practitioner use or accept it? Then assess whether the reported score aligns with your judgment.

Who We're Looking For

We are hiring for four specific roles. Please apply only to the one that matches your background:

• Pharmacists: Active US pharmacist license with 4+ years of community or retail dispensing and counseling experience.
• Private Detectives & Investigators: Licensed (where required), 4+ years managing your own casework and writing professional reports.
• General & Operations Managers: 5+ years owning a store or multi-site P&L, including staffing and inventory responsibilities.
• First-Line Supervisors of Retail Sales Workers: 4+ years supervising a sales floor, scheduling, and managing shrink.

Ideal Candidate

You know your field cold. You've caught someone else's error before it reached a customer — whether that's a DUR intervention, a flawed surveillance report, or an inventory count that didn't reconcile. You write clearly in business English and are comfortable reviewing spreadsheets or PDFs to verify whether numbers hold up.

Less of a fit: Corporate category or merchandising staff who have never run a location, or investigators whose work is limited to public-records lookup.

Getting Started

Your first step is a short recorded interview (~15 minutes) about your area of expertise. Once onboarded, you'll complete a brief intake profile independently before beginning paid review work.
