Science Teacher Expert at AfterQuery

Science Teacher Expert | $45–75/hr | Worldwide Remote | Async Contract

AFTERQUERY is seeking experienced, licensed science teachers to help shape the future of artificial intelligence. In this role, you will design and develop science instruction scenarios used by frontier AI labs to evaluate and refine model judgment and reasoning. This is a fully remote, asynchronous contract position with weekly pay.

What You'll Do

• Build realistic, nuanced science instruction scenarios that challenge AI models to reason through complex scientific concepts
• Apply your classroom expertise to create content grounded in authentic teaching practice
• Clearly articulate scientific reasoning in written English to guide model evaluation

Required Qualifications

• Valid teaching license or certification with a science endorsement
• 2+ years of classroom science teaching experience
• Deep subject-matter expertise in at least one discipline: biology, chemistry, physics, or earth science
• Strong written English communication skills for explaining scientific reasoning
• Ability to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week

Compensation & Details

• Rate: $45–$75/hr based on experience
• Schedule: Fully asynchronous — work on your own time
• Payment: Paid weekly
• Location: 100% remote, open worldwide
