AFTERQUERY is seeking PhD-level and PhD-pursuing researchers in the sciences, math, and engineering to author research-grade AI evaluation tasks drawn directly from their own computational work. This is a flexible, task-based opportunity with no fixed schedule — ideal for researchers who want to contribute meaningfully to AI development while being compensated for their expertise.

What You'll Do

• Convert your own computational research work into well-specified, rigorous AI evaluation tasks
• Earn $300 per approved task, with each task taking approximately 4 hours to complete
• Take on as many tasks as you like — no cap on submissions
• Work independently on your own schedule with full flexibility

Who Should Apply

• Currently pursuing or holding a PhD in a scientific, mathematical, or engineering discipline, with active hands-on research experience
• Exceptional candidates with a Master's degree and a strong research record may also be considered
• Comfortable translating complex computational research into clearly defined evaluation tasks
• Self-directed and able to manage your own time without a fixed weekly commitment
