Senior Accountant & Auditor (AI Training) | Contractor | Worldwide Remote

Turing is seeking experienced Accountants and Auditors to help train cutting-edge AI systems. In this contract role, you'll create, evaluate, and refine complex accounting and audit tasks — ensuring AI outputs meet professional standards and reflect real-world practices across financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-difficulty expert tasks and gold-standard solutions in accounting and audit domains.
• Review and calibrate team members' outputs, maintaining day-to-day quality standards.
• Identify and escalate edge cases and rubric ambiguities to the Functional SME Lead.

Requirements

• 8–15 years of experience in accounting or audit, at Manager–Director level in public accounting or as an industry Controller.
• Regionally relevant accounting qualification: CPA, CA, or ACCA required; CIA or CISA is a plus.
• Expert knowledge of US GAAP, complex accounting issues, financial statements, disclosures, and reporting requirements.
• Strong experience designing, evaluating, and improving internal controls for financial reporting and compliance.
• Proven audit judgment in risk assessment, evidence review, issue identification, and quality delivery.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
• Prior experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, or quality assurance is preferred but not required.

Engagement Details

• Type: Contractor
• Duration: Up to 9 weeks
• Commitment: Minimum 4 hours/day, up to 40 hours/week, with at least 4 hours of overlap with PST
