Turing is seeking experienced Senior Accounting & Finance Professionals to provide expert advisory support through QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Omni Chat. This freelance role involves handling complex, data-heavy financial queries and delivering high-quality guidance to SMB clients and business owners.

Role Overview

In this role, you will serve as a trusted financial advisor, analyzing financial data, responding to complex accounting inquiries, and providing actionable, advisory-based recommendations — all within an AI-powered support environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and deliver clear, accurate accounting guidance.
• Handle complex accounting, bookkeeping, and finance-related questions via chat support.
• Provide advisory-based recommendations grounded in real financial data and best practices.

Requirements

• Senior-level finance background: CFO, COO (Finance), Financial Controller, Financial Director, VP of Finance, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, financial consulting, or related fields.
• Proven experience advising or supporting SMB clients and business owners, particularly US-based SMBs.
• Must have worked with or advised three or more organizations.
• Hands-on experience as a CFO Advisor, Controller, Finance Manager, or Financial Consultant.
• Strong ability to handle complex, data-driven accounting and finance queries.

Nice to Have

• SMB ownership or direct hands-on financial management experience (US-based SMBs preferred).
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Engagement Details

• Commitment: Up to 40 hours per week.
• Duration: 10 weeks, with potential extension based on performance and project needs.
• Selection Process: Vetsmith Challenge followed by client profile screening.
