Senior Finance Project Manager | $60–85/hr | Menlo Park, CA

Join a leading technology company as a Senior Finance Project Manager, driving complex, high-impact finance initiatives from end to end. This is a structured, full-time W-2 role employed through Cincinnatus, embedded directly within the client's internal finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate finance projects end to end, developing detailed plans and directing cross-functional activities for Finance stakeholders and their customers.
• Structure, lead, and execute complex finance programs, collaborating effectively with global cross-functional teams.
• Own and maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure transparency, clarity of objectives, and consistent alignment of deliverables.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, implementing mitigation strategies to protect timelines, budgets, and project objectives.
• Evaluate and improve underlying processes, leading process mapping, documentation, and update requirements to support project goals.
• Assess change impact and incorporate readiness, adoption requirements, and communication plans into project strategies; collaborate with Change SMEs on best practices.
• Maintain effective communication channels, status updates, and stakeholder communication plans throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple priorities.
• Relevant certification required: PMP, PMI, PMI-CPM, AI Program Management, PROSCI, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of Finance business functions and the ability to support execution strategies for assigned Finance areas.
