AFTERQUERY is looking for a talented Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build diverse, production-quality applications that will serve as training examples for cutting-edge AI models. Each application you create becomes part of a real AI training dataset — meaningful, impactful work at the intersection of software engineering and artificial intelligence.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop complete, functional end-to-end applications across a wide range of domains and use cases.
• Demonstrate varied architectural patterns, features, and implementation strategies through your builds.
• Architect full-stack solutions that effectively integrate Next.js, Redis, and SQL databases in production-grade environments.
• Implement efficient data flows between the frontend, caching layer, and database to ensure responsive, performant user experiences.
• Build responsive, polished user interfaces using Tailwind CSS.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Next.js, including server-side rendering and API routes.
• Hands-on experience with Redis for caching, session management, and real-time data handling.
• Solid experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar), including schema design, complex queries, relationships, and optimization.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS for building responsive, utility-first interfaces.
• Ability to architect and deliver full-stack applications independently and at a high standard.

This is a contractor engagement offering competitive hourly rates between $100 and $180/hr, depending on experience. Work is fully remote and open to candidates worldwide.
