Senior Full Stack Engineer (TS/React) at Mercor

Senior Full Stack Engineer | $55–75/hr | Hybrid – Seattle, WA

Join a leading digital health technology company's engineering team to design and build the backend services, distributed systems, and patient-facing applications powering an EHR-integrated care platform. This is a W-2 full-time position through Cincinnatus LLC, with a hybrid schedule requiring two days per week in the Seattle office.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build robust TypeScript/Node.js services for EHR integrations and clinical workflows.
• Deploy and operate microservices on AWS using containerization best practices.
• Build React/TypeScript provider- and patient-facing interfaces optimized for desktop and mobile.
• Develop integrations with patient-education and patient-engagement vendors, including notifications and tracking.
• Contribute to code reviews and system-design discussions, balancing quality with startup velocity.

Core Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience building production software systems in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Strong computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, OOP, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Experience with RESTful or event-driven API development using Node.js (Nest.js or Express).
• Strong front-end skills with React and TypeScript, including mobile and desktop optimization.
• Comfortable debugging across distributed services in an agile, startup environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident located in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in healthcare startups or health-data integration.
• Experience with high-throughput messaging platforms.
• Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency with Tailwind CSS.
