Senior Procurement & Sourcing Expert (APAC/MEA) | Contractor | 9-Week Engagement | Worldwide Remote

Turing is seeking a seasoned Senior Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Expert to contribute to a cutting-edge frontier AI data initiative. In this role, you will design, evaluate, and refine high-difficulty procurement tasks that help train and improve advanced AI agents operating within complex enterprise environments — including ERP systems, vendor portals, contract management platforms, and cross-functional communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Author high-difficulty expert tasks and gold-standard solutions covering complex category strategy, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Review, calibrate, and critique team output to enforce quality standards across deliverables.
• Define task context, required data sources, expected deliverables, and evaluation rubrics that distinguish exceptional, acceptable, and deficient work.
• Verify task feasibility, technical accuracy, and practical realism using provided tools, datasets, and simulated enterprise environments.
• Identify and escalate edge cases or rubric ambiguities to the Functional SME Lead.
• Participate in calibration and revision cycles to continuously elevate task complexity and accuracy.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM or CIPS are strongly preferred.
• Deep expertise in category strategy development, complex supplier negotiations, and contract lifecycle management.
• Proven track record delivering executive-level procurement artifacts: TCO models, RFXs, contract risk assessments, and negotiation playbooks.
• Advanced ability to analyze commercial data, identify supply chain risks, and evaluate strategic rationale.
• Experience authoring AI prompts, corporate scenarios, or evaluation rubrics is a strong plus.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
• Background in AI evaluation, data annotation, or quality assurance is preferred but not required.

Engagement Details

• Type: Contractor
• Duration: 9 weeks
• Commitment: Minimum 4 hours/day, up to 40 hours/week, with 4 hours of overlap with PST
